The power board model is BN44-00774A. Backlight should light up with the main board cable disconnected from the power supply. If they don't, suspect LED strips though shorted LEDs have been known to cause failure in Samsung power supplies as well. Tricky to confirm without a LED tester. Tried, no backlight.
A Samsung TV might have a dark screen because of either a failing backlight, incorrect PWM settings, or because of Eco Mode/Motion Lighting. You can change PWM settings in the Service Menu, usually accessed by pressing Mute + 1 + 8 + 2 + Power on your remote. Eco Mode and Motion Lighting can be changed from the Expert Settings in the Picture
